Paul Lee BSc. (Hons) MSc. (Psych). MIAEBP
Paul has been qualified as a therapist since 1988 and actively offering psychotherapy and psychological counselling since 2009.
He holds a BSc. Honours degree majoring in Social Psychology, a MSc. Masters degree in applied psychology and is also a qualified health and safety technician and CBT practitioner.
Paul’s principal academic interests include how bio-medical and psychiatric approaches to understanding mental health can inhibit intrinsic motivation for change by implying that the emotional experiences are due to faulty biology rather than being normal emotional responses.
You can read more about the biomedical models of mental illness here.
