FREE Initial Consultations for Mental Health Problems at Lee Psychology
We offer free initial consultations to any prospective client who would like to discuss their mental health problems with us and how we might be able to help you.
Because mental health counselling is a collaborative process in which we work together to find solutions to your mental health problems, it is our view that this initial consultation should be free of any financial obligation.
During this consultation we will be focusing on:
- The nature of your problem and how it is affecting your daily life.
- What you believe to be the cause of the problem.
- How long you have been experiencing the problem.
- How your problem might be affecting those around you.
- What you have done to try to solve the problem yourself.
- Agreeing what might be the best form of therapy for you.
We understand that it can be difficult to talk about mental and emotional problems but you can be assured that our conversation will be confidential and without judgement.
Face-to-Face or Online
Our free initial consultations generally take place at our clinic in Wombourne near Wolverahmpton where we have two separate offices, one for Joan and one for Paul, both with their own entrances.
Please note that initial consultations are by PRIOR appointment only so please don’t turn up at the clinic without it being pre-arranged.
Whilst we consider face-to-face (in-clinic) consultations to be optimal, this may not be suitable for clients located elsewhere in the country or abroad.
In these cases Paul is able to offer initial consultations using the Zoom Professional video conferencing system.
You do not need to have Zoom software in order to participate in the meeting, just a laptop or PC (we don’t recommend using your smartphone).
Finally, if you do arrange a consultation with us and then, for whatever reason, you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know with as much notice as possible so that we can offer it to somebody else in need.
