Our work with the NHS

In January 2018 Lee Psychology (Tranceform Psychology at the time) were approved as a supplier of stress management & resilience training to the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (now known as the Black Country NHS ICB).

Our work involved delivering CBT-based training to senior executives, managers and staff to help them develop a range of coping strategies and manage their own mental health challenges.

Over 75 members of the team have participated on our one-to-one CBT programme with us at our offices in Wombourne or online using Zoom.

We have also delivered a programme of half-day and full-day in-house training seminars to over 200 members of staff.

In 2022 we began working with our second major NHS service, the Birmingham & Solihull NHS ICB.

Working with the Private Sector

We have also worked with a number of privately owned businesses including:

Main Causes of Mental Health Problems at Work

In 2007 the Health and Safety Executive commissioned a team of Psychologists to examine the main factors leading to work related stress.

They identified SIX work-specific factors directly influencing the well being of staff:

  1. Change Management
  2. Control of Work
  3. Job Definition
  4. Organisational Relationships
  5. Support at Work
  6. Workplace Demands

You can read more about each of these factors and what are regarded as the best-practices related to effective management in each case by clicking the above links.
